2021.10.28 05:56 Ojerry1997 Can someone help find this particular map on Deviantart?
It was on of those alternate history maps on deviantart. I dont rmember what it looks like but it was a post apocalyptic map where part of it described something about some cults worshiping a deity known as "The Man" (US president) wholives dee within a mountain (Cheyenne Mountain complex).
I've tried rediscovering it again by the new DA algorithym introduced after they switched to eclipse swept it out of the search queries as it was untagged and it can only show tagged deviations,
If anyone here has got better luck than I have, thenk you for your assistance.

2021.10.28 05:56 AwkwardShake The latest Google's Data Safety section is half-assed, why do they need to check really old (more than 1 year ago in my case) APK's for compliance if the latest version doesn't have the code?
| Call me stupid, but I'm usually the one to follow Google's latest policies and other things before anyone does them.|
So this time also I filled the Data Safety section of my app as soon as it was available for me, i.e. yesterday.
And then I receive this.
I've never sent Installed Apps data off the users device. In my case, I used the code to get Installed Apps to see if the user has browser in order to handle the URL intents. I was seeing crashes on some devices which didn't have browsers, so I added that check and it seemed to fix the issue. I think even StackOverflow has the thread on same? (I might be completely wrong about the browser thing, but I do 100% have faint memory of getting list of installed apps for doing something, to fix some crash, and it was definitely not for sending on my servers, because what would I, solo developer do with that data?)
But if there was some SDK or something that did send the Installed Apps data off the user device, it was in APK 57, which in my case was on September 27, 2020. My latest app update does not have anything related to getting the list of installed apps, so why does Google need to check APK 57, even if it's not active literally in any track (open testing, closed testing, internal testing)?
The app didn't have any problem, and is still live on Play Store, but the issue here is them going through really really old code and APK's which are not even active for this Data Safety section check. Do you think I'm in the wrong here or that Google shouldn't be going through year old APK's for newly launched policies?

2021.10.28 05:56 khabalseed How do you do it in DiD to survive that "tipping point moment"
Plain and simple, how do YOU do it in DiD to go beyond "that level" where you can start doing things somewhat more comfortable? (maybe that is the problem, feeling comfortable)
I'm really in need of some advice, because there's obviously something I'm doing very wrong; right now, I really do feel like going from level 1 to 15 is literally a matter of luck, not at all related to my skills, since I've been killed by bandits when I was able to kill sabercats, or by a sabercat after being able to defeat some random vampires, etc...
Sometimes I invest quite a while doing extra stuff like spell researching, mining, alchemy, etc, sadly wasted time. My real problem is I'm f*cking hooked to DiD and I just can't play without it... I feel dirty reloading, honestly; I even "cheated" once (deleted the dead file) to reload the game, because it was a really random dead, only to be killed one minute later, and I felt like karma slapped me in the face.
Just to try to give you an accurate description of my situation, this is my "hall of fame":
Azdo Birth: unknown, death: 4E201 Race: Imperial. Killed in Dimhollow Crypt by Lokil. Was level 1 when installed Dead is Dead, and died at level 21
Hildegar Shellboat Birth: unknown, death: 4E201 Race: Breton. Killed in Winterhold by Winterhold Guard. Was level 1 when installed Dead is Dead, and died at level 1
Bisonte Unlitted Birth: unknown, death: 4E201 Race: Breton. Killed in Halted Stream Camp by bandit. Was level 1 when installed Dead is Dead, and died at level 4
Cadavero Tumbabierta Birth: unknown, death: 4E201 Race: Breton. Killed in by bandit. Was level 1 when installed Dead is Dead, and died at level 2
Mogrol Marrowmuncher Birth: unknown, death: 4E201 Race: Orc. Killed in Movarth's Lair by Movarth. Was level 1 when installed Dead is Dead, and died at level 29.
Graveyarl-Doe Birth: unknown, death: 4E201 Race: Dark Elf. Killed in Winterhold by Sabre Cat. Was level 1 when installed Dead is Dead, and died at level 1
Jonny Bravo Birth: unknown, death: 4E201 Race: Dark Elf. Killed in Valtheim Towers by bandit. Was level 1 when installed Dead is Dead, and died at level 3
Jon Doe Birth: unknown, death: 4E201 Race: Dark Elf. Killed in Pinewatch by bandit. Was level 1 when installed Dead is Dead, and died at level 12
Is this something normal playing DiD or am I really that bad playing?

2021.10.28 05:56 badis_khalfallah The strategy that turned UNIQLO into a global empire
This is how Uniqlo became a $19 billion/year global success story.
1/ Humble Japanese origins Uniqlo’s founder (Tadashi Yanai) was born in the clothing business.
In 1972, he inherits his father’s men’s tailoring business but decides to move into casual wear.
His inspiration: Gap, Benetton...; which he discovered traveling the US.
Uniqlo was born.
2/ Bad perception Uniqlo’s concept works, with over 300 stores opening in Japan in the 90s.
The only problem: the brand is perceived as cheap & low-quality; so they try a new strategy that would soon turn Uniqlo into a global empire:
Provide luxury fabrics at a low price.
3/ The cashmere campaign Cashmere was the perfect starting point for this new strategy.
By sourcing the cashmere themselves, they managed to launch the most affordable cashmere product line on the market in 2003.
It was an immediate hit.
They’ll do the same with wool, silk, technical fabrics...
4/ Low product count Focusing on luxury fabrics has a downside though.
Uniqlo cannot offer too many collections.
Their average product count is 3 times lower than competitors.
5/ Affordable luxury In 2004, they also decided to use megastores for their international expansion.
Thousands of square meters are strategically placed near designer and luxury stores, raising the brand image and attracting big spenders who’ll buy their basics at Uniqlo.
Thanks for reading! B.
